:yeah: to all of the above. None of this is acceptable behaviour and trying to be reasonable with people like that will not make things better. In both your own interests AND THOSE OF YOUR CATS, you need to end this relationship before things escalate.

Take home message: let's be grateful Cosette isn't a tortie! On a more serious note, I'm so glad to hear she's doing well. Her purring when petted, even AFTER the potential 'betrayal' of a trip to the vet, is in my opinion a big deal.

Poor baby! No wonder she's been funny with her food, not to mention moody/nervy. I would be if my teeth were like that! Hopefully she'll feel better soon, and this will help her come out of her shell more.
