I love bananas! That's one staple fruit that's in my house all year round! It's such a healthy snack and I love how easy it is to peel them LOL. When I make my own smoothies I also must have bananas in them; all fruits or nuts are optional. I guess you can say I go bananas about bananas ;)

Haha funny you should say that! The reason I even found out about this total eclipse was that my book club recently read a thriller (not Stephen King) where key events took place during eclipses, thus started a discussion about eclipses, which lead to a quick google search about this one, and so...

I was in Hamilton, ON, which was on the path of totality. The clouds parted enough when it mattered the most and I took this pic with my phone. It was quite something!

Though I'm trying to watch less TV, I would say that life without TV would be difficult for me.

I've always liked my last name, it felt like part of me. However, one summer when I was a teenager while I was visiting my paternal grandparents, I learned, during a random conversation with them, that when my grandpa was a teenager fighting in the war he had changed his last name...which means...

I've been using a lot of Trader Joe's Everything But the Bagel. We don't have Trader Joe's here in Canada, so when I occasionally go down into the US I hoard bottles and bottles of it to bring back :D
