I put back his hiding spot and he didn't hiss anymore lol. I think he was just stressed out from not being able to hide and rest.

To add on, his mouth kinda stays open before and after a hiss. You think it's stress? I've recently taken away an unconducive hiding spot and maybe he got upset.

Hi, just to share whiskers is adapting very well! But just recently he miaos and hiss. Not sure why but it's a miao first then hiss. If it's a hiss first I get that I'm doing something wrong but why does a miao immediately turn into a hiss?

Update: sorry for the lack of update but I found out why he wasn't eating. My husband had been bribing him with churu to make him like him more lol

His fur just looks oily at times. I just bought a bristle brush and maybe I'll use that with some water.

How about brushing whiskers with a wet brush? You think that'll help?

Alright. I brush him at least once a day. Been brushing for at least two weeks tho. What's lysine? Should I be adding supplements to his food? I crush up egg shells (cooked to get rid of bacteria), for him sometimes.
