These too are vibrissae, near related with whiskers. Helps the cat orientate in darkness, and feels of not only touch, but also vibrations and air movements.
I agree, its fever coat, it will go away with time.
And yeah, she seems pretty young. Eyes are still baby blue. I presume momma had to carry several, but forgot her, or got scared and left without.
Goats milk is cheaper than kmr... You can always use this.
Tx for helping the little one.
As I know, the most common cause healthy kittens dies quite suddenly; healthy in the morning and cold when you come home from work, is pneumonia...
Now, pneumonia is most easy to catch either at birth = fluid in lungs, or if handraised - again, fluid in lungs.
Kittens with good momma have...
Agree with the others, a nice tabby-patterned cat... IF she has some Ancestry of something less usual, we will perhaps see it with time. She will be counted as beautiful domestic anyway!
Nay, the only real question is these reddish fields on her forebrow. Is it reddish for real, or is it...
I think its normal.
This blobish is prob the mucose plug. Theorethically if goes off hours before deliver, but in practice may go off more than a week before.
A little brownred discharge is normal, as long its not alive blood..
Has she dropped? ie suddenly seems less pregnant? Its not...
I want to add, when the time comes for deworming - this time may come soon; its not enough with the standard dewormer taking only roundworms.
Being flea infested he may also have tapeworms, because fleas are inbetween host of tapeworm.
These spot on deparasites takes often roundworm too, but...
So the gray tuxedo is the father.
Tuxedo is heterozygot on the white spot, its why only some of his kittens are tuxedo. The other solid, as from momma.
Striped is dominant, but none of kittens is STRIPED, so almost surely not him.
Tx for the report!
I hope everyone is good and thriving?
So she delivered on day 70?
Father is prob a tuxedo him too, ie having a big white spot area... Grey or black. Anyway, he carries the dilutation gene.
Momma carries the dilutation gene, although herself black.
OK, so we must presume its it. :)
I guess it was a planned mating? You had the stud guesting to do the job? Its more common wife comes to stud, but some studs are ok with coming to the lady.
I have never heard about moringa powder. I will google more.
Anyways, may be good, may be so so, but surely nothing which is necessary for cats.
The food you are giving sounds good.
1 stands for the powder, 2 stands for water. and 1 stands for powder, 3 stands for goats milk... Of course, in the later, you dont need to have it all goats milk - if you want it a little more fluid you have some water in there.
It is one of our experienced forumites whom experimentated...
yOU can probably do both, as goats milk is mild and shouldnt upset the tummy.
The advice is, instead of the usual mixining of 1:2, have a 1:3 ratio...
This advice was for raw goats milk, but Meyenbergs should go fine too.... I know forumites whom happily used Meyenberg for their rescued orphan...
